This lady already had the one black nail which looks pretty with the pink anchor 'Joy' design.

Six Senses Spa

Sunday 14th August. 2nd day of my cousin Lizzie's Hen do.

Sunday afternoons are made for lux pampering sessions!

Tomato face at the end of steam/sauna/jacuzzi.
Then had a 30 minute massage which all ended to soon...
I decided this is essential for my well being and should be part of my monthly schedule :))

Smashed powder

I hate it when this happens :(

Shu uemura (black case sold seperately) - Compact powder
Chanel - Double perfection compact - Natural Matte Powder SPF10

Used Shu Uemura for 3 years now, but thought I'd change to Chanel as it's hard to find the refillable compact powder in UK. The colour looks dark but when I apply it, it's perfect.
The Chanel lady said I needed the lightest shade, strangely when she tested it on me it matched my skin tone and was similar to the Shu Uemura.

Chanel's texture is better and gives a more natural sheen to the face.

Emerald gem nails

Haven't blogged in a while. Once again, uni!! However, I have this week to look forward to as I am attending my first hen do in London. The theme is Hollywood Glamour 1950s.

I'm not sure what dress I'll be wearing. I had a few choices before the theme was put into place; now I have to rethink it all over again! 

I had done these nails a week ago perfect for the Hollywood theme. They are still in place with the exception of the thumb nail which pinged off when I was unbuckling seatbelt buckle of the car and wedged inside for a little while...

I was eating strawbs at the time and thought my nails looked cute as the leafy part 8-)
Some people think it's just one ready made crystal emerald but the edges of the emerald are all individual gems, including the little gold balls which are a pain to apply because they're 1mm wide.

After doing my nails, I wanted to get some earrings to go with and came across Angelina Jolie with her oh so beautiful $2.5 million emerald earrings and ring by Lorraine Schwartz.

YSL manifesto s/s11

Saw these posted on a friend's blog - Souperbwitch (3rd March) 2 days before the hand out date of these YSL totes. She says they will be "distributed by the brand on the streets of Paris, New York, London, Milan, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Los Angeles to the first lucky 2000 passerbys."

I messaged my auntie who is amazing at getting her hands on things like this....and she did :D

She got 2 from someone handing them out around Covent Garden, London.

Sis lala just came back from London where she did some work experience and also collected all my birthday presents. hehe. Thank youu.

I look like a perv peeping through a newspaper. haha

Home alone - Pamper sesh

Ken & Lil both went back home ealier this week so it was just me all alone.
I enjoyed the 1st and 2nd night alone, but the 3rd night felt too lonely so I thought I'd have some meee time and make some fatty chicken wings. nom nom, have a candle-lit bath, do my nails (2nd attempt, the last set lasted for 3 weeks!) and eat some Percy Pigs; original and phizzy tails! puhi puhi.

For the nail design on my thumb, I tried to make it look like a crown.....but instead, I unconciously turned it into the original....

Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day & My birthday.

Been busy celebrating so I haven't given myself any time to blog. I mean...CNY lasts for 15 whole days! horhor ^o^
I'll be off to London tomorrow, then Paris Friday morning for the weekend to come home to my birthday on Monday. I'm so excited, eep! (Ok. I started writing this post before Paris but actually, I've been & gone)!! Will blog about Paris & my birthday asap :P

Part 2: VALENTINE'S DAY

My 7th Valentine I have had with my bf Ken

I guess I have to confess my age now because you're going to think I'm really old. But in fact I'm going to be 21 on Monday!! Feel a little embarrased now...been with him since I was 14. hehe.
He got me a hello kitty bed warmer which I already had!!! The only difference was the colour and size of her hearts on the dress. She sits in my room with specs so I don't understand how he didn't realise I already had one. BUTTT i love hello kitty so I don't mind having a twin.
Feeling sorry for all our single friends, me & Ken went out to eat with them lol. We went to have Hotpot & Tenpanyaki @ Hans Dynasty, Nottingham. I love it there because everyone gets their own little pot (++Hygeinic)

 DIY time: Wore a red maxi from Topshop which I customised with a mesh heart.
Lil's orange Motel dress already had mesh xP
Also did my own 3D nails for the first time. (Not gel or acrylic - just natural nails)
Was going to get a little chickadee called Mary Ta to do them because she is amazing...but I thought I could do them myself. so why not? Also I can buy all the gems/glue etc for the same price as she would charge me for one set :P I only do nails for myself not for business so don't ask haha.
